
Site Reliability Engineer Intern (Data-Technical Infrastructures)

- Monitor and maintain the overall health and performance of our data infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or incidents that may arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements and optimizations for our data systems.
- Develop and maintain tools and processes for automating tasks and streamlining workflows.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new data infrastructure projects.
- Document and communicate system changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our data infrastructure.
- Act as a mentor and resource for other team members, including interns and new hires.
- Take initiative and proactively identify potential issues or areas for improvement within our data systems.
Strong Understanding Of Data Infrastructure And Technical Systems: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Data Infrastructure And Technical Systems, Including Databases, Networking, And Cloud Computing.
Proficiency In Programming Languages And Scripting: A Site Reliability Engineer Intern At Bytedance Should Possess Strong Programming Skills And Be Proficient In Languages Such As Python, Java, Or C++, As Well As Have Experience With Scripting Languages Like Bash Or Perl.
Knowledge Of Monitoring And Troubleshooting Tools: The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Various Monitoring And Troubleshooting Tools Used In Data Infrastructure, Such As Prometheus, Grafana, Or Splunk.
Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams: The Role Of A Site Reliability Engineer At Bytedance Requires Collaboration With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Software Engineers, Data Analysts, And Product Managers. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills To Effectively Work With Different Teams.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: As A Site Reliability Engineer Intern, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Solving Complex Technical Issues, So Strong Problem-Solving Skills Are A Must.
