Tire & Utility Technician
As a Tire & Utility Technician, you will be responsible for learning core elements of fleet maintenance primarily with tires and tire related components on assets, but will include exposure to other fleet assets within the operations. Understand all aspects of the tire, air PSI, and related components designed to reduce tire failure such as TMS and tire inflation systems. Successfully inspect all tire positions and correctly identify needs and out of spec items. Perform fleet inspections leveraging hand held technology that stores data and tire condition information. Participate in supporting other technicians to glean skills and expertise.
Ability to work 3rd shift
Mechanical exposure and/or tire related background is required
Base understanding of mechanical principles and aptitude to complete repairs on Heavy Duty equipment with moderate instruction.
