Arts & Makerspace Librarian

The successful candidate will develop and deliver programming and services related to the use of the space and its resources, while providing technical support to patrons. This position requires an individual with strong communication, organizational, and technical skills, as well as the ability to create a welcoming environment for users.The successful candidate for this position must possess a Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution, as well as a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of arts and makerspace trends, technologies, and resources, as well as the ability to manage both physical and digital collections. In addition, the successful candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
