
Case Manager/Counselor
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate and dedicated professional to join our team as a Case Manager/Counselor at California State University, Fullerton. The successful candidate must have a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or a related Human Services field, and at least two years of experience in counseling, case management, or related social services. The ideal candidate should have experience providing counseling and psychological services to college students, as well as experience in crisis management, outreach services, and community development.The Case Manager/Counselor will provide counseling services to students, including individual, group and family counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to assist students with personal, academic, and career-related concerns. They will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management services, which include outreach, assessment, service planning, and follow-up to ensure successful completion of goals. The Case Manager/Counselor will also serve as a resource and advocate for students, faculty, staff, and the community.We seek an individual who is committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment for all students, and who has strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse student population. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to cultural awareness and sensitivity, and a willingness to learn and incorporate best practices into their work. They must be a team player and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Finally, they should have excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
