They must have an in-depth understanding of the College of Business and Economics and the resources available to students. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and is able to work independently as well as collaboratively with faculty and staff.The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of experience in a college or university setting. They must also have a thorough understanding of student services, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with diverse student populations. A successful candidate will be able to develop and implement advising strategies and services as well as provide support to faculty and staff. Responsibilities:

1. Provide advice and assistance to students regarding their academic and career plans.
2. Develop and implement advising strategies and services that will support the College of Business and Economics and its students.
3. Assist faculty and staff in developing resources and strategies to help students reach their educational goals.
4. Monitor student progress and provide guidance and support as needed.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of college policies and procedures and advise students accordingly.
6. Work collaboratively with other departments and offices to ensure student success.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of student success initiatives.
8. Maintain accurate records and update student data in the college’s systems.
9. Provide guidance and support to faculty and staff regarding the resources and services available to students.
10. Assist in the development and delivery of workshops and presentations to promote student success.
