Data Governance Specialist

Creates, implements and maintains the company’s Data Governance framework and Data Quality Program. Consults with individuals and teams to apply Data Governance practices in an efficient, effective, consistent manner. Partner with Business SMEs and others to ensure Business rules, data quality requirements and metric definitions are collected and documented, and definitions meet Data Governance standards. Assess data quality issues, including root cause and business impact, and implement corrective action. Review and approve requests for access to multi-purpose data stores with sensitive data; conduct periodic reviews of user access to ensure continued compliance with standards; provide support during internal and external audits. Serve as a Product Owner for the Data Quality System and other Data Governance tools.
