- Coordinate and manage the transportation of commodity products from origin to destination, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Monitor and track shipment schedules, ensuring all deliveries are completed as planned.
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Analyze transportation needs and make recommendations for cost-saving measures and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of all shipments and logistics activities.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or delays in transportation to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as sourcing and procurement, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of commodity products.
- Continuously monitor market trends and changes in the transportation industry to adapt and improve logistics processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns or inquiries related to logistics.
- Train and mentor junior logistics team members to ensure a high level of performance and productivity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and suppliers to ensure reliable and efficient transportation services.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall supply chain efficiency.
- Adhere to Cargill's safety and compliance standards at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Commodity Logistics, Preferably In The Agriculture Industry.
Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations And Logistics Operations, Including Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance, And Documentation.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Process Improvements.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.
