- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets for the Mountain Southwest region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the animal nutrition industry, including but not limited to feed mills, livestock producers, and distributors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers to understand their needs and provide them with personalized solutions.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns and promotions that support sales objectives.
- Manage a team of sales representatives and provide guidance, training, and support to help them achieve their sales goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitors' activities to identify potential threats and opportunities for Diamond V.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, customer service, and supply chain, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers.
- Utilize data and analytics to track sales performance and make data-driven decisions to improve sales strategies.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote Diamond V's products and services.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Diamond V's products and services, as well as the latest developments in the animal nutrition industry, to provide knowledgeable and consultative sales support.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Sales Or Business Development, Preferably In The Agricultural Or Animal Nutrition Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Agriculture, Business, Or Related Field.
Demonstrated Success In Leading And Managing A Sales Team, With A Track Record Of Meeting Or Exceeding Sales Targets.
Strong Understanding Of The Livestock And Feed Industries In The Mountain Southwest Region.
Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Relationship-Building Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Key Stakeholders.
