Job Description

At Cargill, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Poultry Diagnostic Technician to join our team.   1. Conduct diagnostic testing on poultry flocks to identify and diagnose any health issues.
  2. Analyze test results to determine the appropriate course of action for treatment and prevention of diseases.
  3. Monitor and maintain the health and wellbeing of poultry flocks through regular check-ups and follow-up testing.
  4. Collaborate with veterinarians and other team members to develop and implement effective disease prevention and treatment plans.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in poultry health to continuously improve diagnostic techniques and protocols.
  6. Maintain accurate records of all diagnostic testing and results for each flock.
  7. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide updates on flock health and any necessary actions being taken.
  8. Identify potential areas of improvement in flock health and make recommendations for implementing changes to enhance overall health and productivity.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while handling and testing poultry.
  10. Train and mentor other team members on diagnostic testing techniques and procedures.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure accuracy and efficiency in testing processes.
  12. Represent Cargill and promote our commitment to top-quality products and services to customers and industry professionals.
  13. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Veterinary Science Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Poultry Diagnostics Or A Similar Role

  • Strong Understanding Of Poultry Health And Disease Management

  • Knowledge Of Diagnostic Techniques And Laboratory Procedures

  • Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment, With Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
