  1. Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicles, including washing, waxing, and polishing interiors and exteriors.
  2. Inspect vehicles for any damages or imperfections and make necessary repairs or recommendations for repairs.
  3. Utilize various tools and products to remove stains, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle surfaces.
  4. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure all vehicles meet company standards for appearance.
  5. Work efficiently and effectively to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
  6. Keep track of inventory and supplies, and inform management when products need to be restocked.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
  8. Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering any questions they may have about the detailing process.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to the highest quality.
  10. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  11. Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline the detailing process.
  12. Stay updated on new car models and technologies, and adapt detailing techniques accordingly.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service and strive to exceed customer expectations.
  14. Take responsibility for maintaining the appearance and functionality of all detailing equipment and tools.
  15. Be an ambassador for the company and uphold its values and standards at all times.

  • Knowledge Of Automotive Cleaning Products And Techniques: A Qualified Automotive Detailer At Carmax Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Various Cleaning Products, Tools, And Techniques Used To Detail Vehicles. This Includes Knowledge Of The Appropriate Products For Different Materials Such As Leather, Vinyl, And Carpet.

  • Attention To Detail: Detailing Vehicles Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure A Thorough And Flawless Cleaning Job. This Includes Being Able To Spot And Remove Even The Smallest Specks Of Dirt Or Grime From The Vehicle's Exterior And Interior.
