  1. Develop and maintain data models for various business applications and systems, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and integrity of data.
  2. Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
  3. Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in data modeling and make recommendations for improvement in data management processes.
  4. Lead the design and implementation of data models for new and existing systems, ensuring that they align with business objectives and requirements.
  5. Conduct data analysis to identify data quality issues and work with teams to resolve them.
  6. Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data mapping documents, and other relevant documentation for data models.
  7. Work closely with database administrators and data engineers to ensure efficient and effective data storage and retrieval.
  8. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and junior data modelers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  9. Collaborate with data architects, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define and implement data management and analytics strategies.
  10. Monitor and evaluate data models to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
  11. Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to the development of data-driven solutions for business challenges.
  12. Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures, including data security and privacy regulations.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on data modeling and provide support to internal and external stakeholders when needed.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate data modeling processes and make recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Data Modeling: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Data Modeling, Including Both Conceptual And Logical Data Modeling Techniques.

  • Proficiency In Data Modeling Tools: The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Using Industry-Standard Data Modeling Tools Such As Erwin, Toad Data Modeler, Or Er/Studio.

  • Expertise In Data Warehouse Design: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Warehousing Concepts And Experience In Designing Data Warehouse Architectures.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Identify And Solve Complex Data Modeling Problems.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Leading A Team Of Data Modelers And Managing Data Modeling Projects From Start To Finish. They Should Also Have Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
