- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patients' inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the electronic medical record system.
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-payments from patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure a smooth flow of operations in the clinic.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, and filing documents.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise from patients, visitors, or staff.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on clinic policies and procedures.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Catholic Health Initiatives and represent the organization in a positive light.
- Continuously strive to improve the patient experience by soliciting and implementing feedback from patients and colleagues.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the clinic manager or supervisor.
