
Ultrasound Technologist
Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing quality care and has the necessary qualifications to be successful in this role. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently.The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for providing diagnostic ultrasounds and related services to patients. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, as well as an understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in ultrasound and will be registered through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). In addition, this role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasounds on patients and related services.
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Operate ultrasound equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Complete patient paperwork and records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Provide patient education regarding ultrasound procedures and results.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent

Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms) By The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms)
Current Certification In Basic Cardiac Life Support (Bcls)
