- Provide exceptional care to patients with liver diseases, utilizing advanced technology and working alongside renowned physicians.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of liver conditions, including but not limited to cirrhosis, hepatitis, and liver cancer.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Monitor and manage patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in healthcare delivery.
- Stay updated on current research and advancements in the field of hepatology.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Attend continuing education programs and conferences to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Serve as a role model for nursing staff and students.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care for patients.
- Comply with all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Assist in the development and implementation of protocols and guidelines for the hepatology department.
- Provide support and guidance to nursing staff and other members of the healthcare team.
Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Hepatology From An Accredited Program.
Current And Unrestricted Np License In The State Of California.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Np In A Hepatology Setting.
Advanced Knowledge And Understanding Of Hepatology Conditions, Treatments, And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Patient Education And Support.
