
Radiation Oncology - Physics Faculty

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Radiation Oncology - Physics Faculty to join our team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in delivering personalized, compassionate cancer care to our patients.The Radiation Oncology - Physics Faculty will be responsible for teaching and mentoring medical physicists and radiation oncology fellows, as well as providing consultation for the clinical and research aspects of radiation oncology physics. This position requires strong technical knowledge as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in medical physics, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in radiation oncology physics. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of teaching, research, and clinical experience in radiation oncology physics. Candidates must be licensed in the applicable state and be board certified by the American Board of Radiology. The successful candidate must also be able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and mentor medical physicists and radiation oncology fellows in the field of radiation oncology physics.
- Provide consultation for the clinical and research aspects of radiation oncology physics
- Possess a PhD in medical physics or related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in radiation oncology physics
- Demonstrate a proven track record of teaching, research, and clinical experience in radiation oncology physics
- Be licensed in the applicable state, and board certified by the American Board of Radiology
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other health care professionals

- Maintain strong technical knowledge relevant to the field
