The Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking an Undergraduate Research Intern to join our Cancer Research Center for Health Equity.   1. Conduct research: The Undergraduate Research Intern will be responsible for conducting research related to cancer and health equity under the guidance of our experienced researchers.
  2. Data collection and analysis: The intern will collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources to support ongoing research projects.
  3. Literature review: The intern will be responsible for conducting literature reviews and staying up-to-date on the latest developments in cancer research and health equity.
  4. Assist with experiments: The intern will assist in conducting experiments and carrying out laboratory procedures to support ongoing research projects.
  5. Documentation and record-keeping: The intern will be responsible for maintaining accurate and organized records of research data, experimental procedures, and results.
  6. Collaborate with team members: The intern will work closely with other members of the research team to contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the Cancer Research Center for Health Equity.
  7. Present findings: The intern will have the opportunity to present their findings and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Biochemistry, Or Genetics.

  • Knowledge Of Cancer Research Principles And Techniques, Acquired Through Coursework Or Prior Research Experience.

  • Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Independently Design And Conduct Experiments.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Setting.

  • Prior Experience Working In A Laboratory Or Research Setting, Preferably In The Field Of Cancer Research.
