Manager, Absence Management

Manage the Absence Management team responsible for administration and communication of Centene’s absence and disability accommodation programs. Prioritize work assignments and counsel team members on procedures. Monitor the team’s work quality and ensure adherence to service level agreements. Conduct ongoing analyses of processes and make recommendations for improvements related to efficiency and effectiveness of absence management programs. Evaluate, establish, and implement company procedures to ensure timely reporting of leave cases and accurate payroll coding for employees on leave. Oversee FMLA, STD, LTD, AND ADA third party program administrators. Create and deliver absence management functional area reporting metrics. Represent the absence management team within HR projects. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholder groups including Benefits, HR business partners, HRIS, HR Contact Center, and Payroll.
