Job Description

We are currently seeking an Internal Audit Manager, Standards and Training to join our team and oversee the development and implementation of training programs and standards for our internal audit team.   1. Develop and implement training programs for the internal audit team, ensuring they are up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  2. Create and maintain a comprehensive set of standards and guidelines for the internal audit team to follow.
  3. Oversee the implementation of these standards and guidelines, ensuring they are consistently applied across all internal audit processes.
  4. Train and mentor internal audit team members on the standards and guidelines, providing guidance and support as needed.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure the training programs and standards remain relevant and effective.
  6. Monitor the performance and progress of the internal audit team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary training to address any gaps.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to gather feedback and incorporate it into the training programs and standards.
  8. Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of the training programs and standards, making adjustments as needed.
  9. Ensure all internal audit team members are fully trained and knowledgeable in their roles and responsibilities.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert on internal audit processes and procedures, providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization when needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Internal Audit, Preferably In A Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Internal Audit Standards And Best Practices, Including Coso And Sox.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Training Programs For Internal Audit Staff.

  • Professional Certification Such As Cia, Cpa, Or Cisa Is Preferred.
