  1. Develop and innovate new recipes and menu items that align with Chipotle's commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients and promoting sustainability.
  2. Conduct thorough research on global cuisines, food trends, and customer preferences to inform menu development.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sourcing, and operations, to ensure menu items meet company standards and objectives.
  4. Create and test recipes, considering factors such as flavor, appearance, texture, and cost.
  5. Use your culinary expertise to develop unique and exciting flavor combinations that will appeal to a diverse customer base.
  6. Ensure all menu items meet food safety and quality standards through rigorous testing and evaluation.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and developments, and incorporate them into menu innovation and development.
  8. Manage and maintain recipe databases, including ingredient lists, measurements, and cooking techniques.
  9. Train and mentor other chefs and kitchen staff on new menu items and techniques.
  10. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source sustainable and high-quality ingredients for menu items.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve menu offerings to keep up with customer demands and preferences.
  12. Represent Chipotle's culinary vision and values in all recipe development and menu planning.
  13. Attend and participate in food shows, conferences, and other industry events to stay informed and gather inspiration for menu innovation.
