  1. Develop and implement new menu items and recipes that align with Chipotle's vision and brand.
  2. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on food trends and innovations in the culinary world.
  3. Create and maintain a test kitchen to experiment with new ingredients and techniques.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure menu items are feasible to implement in restaurants.
  5. Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to execute menu development and testing.
  6. Conduct cost analysis and ensure new menu items meet budget and profitability goals.
  7. Conduct taste tests and gather feedback from customers and internal team members.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to source high-quality and sustainable ingredients.
  9. Train and educate kitchen staff on new menu items and cooking techniques.
  10. Monitor and maintain food safety and sanitation standards in the test kitchen.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve existing menu items to ensure quality and consistency.
  12. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal and promotional menu items.
  13. Attend industry events and conferences to stay updated on the latest food trends and techniques.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members and provide regular updates on menu development progress.
  15. Maintain accurate records and documentation of recipes, ingredients, and menu development processes.
