
Investigational Pharmacist

- Oversee the handling, storage, and dispensing of investigational drugs in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and research teams to develop and implement investigational drug protocols.
- Conduct thorough reviews of investigational drug orders and ensure appropriate dosing and preparation.
- Monitor patients receiving investigational drugs for any adverse reactions or interactions.
- Maintain detailed records of investigational drug inventory, usage, and patient information.
- Educate and train healthcare staff on the proper handling and administration of investigational drugs.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and developments in investigational drugs and incorporate new information into practice.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding investigational drugs and potential side effects.
- Comply with all hospital and regulatory requirements for investigational drug use and reporting.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to investigational drug use and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management for pediatric patients.
- Maintain a sterile and organized investigational drug preparation area.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Attend departmental meetings and trainings as required.
- Continuously evaluate and improve investigational drug processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Active State Pharmacist License.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Pediatric Hospital Or Clinical Pharmacy Setting.
Board Certification In Pediatrics (Bcps) Or Pediatric Pharmacy (Bcpp) Preferred.
Knowledge And Experience With Investigational Drug Management, Including Protocol Review, Monitoring, And Adverse Event Reporting.
