  1. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for children and families in the hospital setting.
  2. Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing assessment and evaluation of patient progress.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  4. Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and families as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient sessions and progress.
  6. Stay up-to-date on current research and evidence-based practices in child and adolescent mental health.
  7. Provide education and support to families on coping strategies and resources.
  8. Advocate for the mental health needs of patients within the hospital and in the community.
  9. Collaborate with external agencies, schools, and other organizations to coordinate care for patients.
  10. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
  11. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and families.
  14. Represent CHOC Children's Hospital in a professional and positive manner.
  15. Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Or Social Work From An Accredited University.

  • Current State License As A Mental Health Therapist (Lmft, Lcsw, Or Lpc).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Children And Families In A Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And Interventions For Treating Mental Health Disorders In Children And Adolescents.

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Culturally Sensitive Care To Diverse Populations.
