- Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on medical procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve nursing skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other nurses and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Display a positive and professional attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
- Act as an advocate for patients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
- Handle stressful situations with composure and provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Continuously assess and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
Valid Lvn License In The State Of California
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Care
Cpr And Basic Life Support Certification
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
