Behavioral Health Specialist

Cincinnati Children's is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health and providing quality support to children and families. We are looking for a creative, highly organized individual who can collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary team. Some of the qualifications we are looking for include: a master's degree in a behavioral health field, such as psychology or social work; current licensure in the state of Ohio; experience providing therapeutic work with children, adolescents, and families; knowledge of behavior modification techniques; and excellent critical thinking and clinical assessment skills. Responsibilities:

1. Provide mental health counseling and support services to children, adolescents, and families.
2. Assess and diagnose behavioral problems and develop treatment plans.
3. Utilize behavior modification techniques to help clients modify their behavior.
4. Provide education and resources to families on strategies to manage complex behaviors.
5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective treatment.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress.
7. Remain current on best practices regarding behavioral health services.
8. Advocate for clients and their families.
9. Maintain confidentiality of client information.
