
Behavioral Health Specialist
Cincinnati Children's is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health and providing quality support to children and families. We are looking for a creative, highly organized individual who can collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary team. Some of the qualifications we are looking for include: a master's degree in a behavioral health field, such as psychology or social work; current licensure in the state of Ohio; experience providing therapeutic work with children, adolescents, and families; knowledge of behavior modification techniques; and excellent critical thinking and clinical assessment skills. Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health counseling and support services to children, adolescents, and families.
- Assess and diagnose behavioral problems and develop treatment plans.
- Utilize behavior modification techniques to help clients modify their behavior.
- Provide education and resources to families on strategies to manage complex behaviors.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress.
- Remain current on best practices regarding behavioral health services.
- Advocate for clients and their families.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
