Medical Vigilance Solutions Pharmacist

Cincinnati Children's is currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and organized Pharmacist with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality assurance to join our Medical Vigilance Solutions team. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of pharmacy practices and principles.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the pharmacy regulations and policies, while developing and managing medication protocols, optimizing drug use, and providing clinical support to the healthcare team. Additionally, this individual will counsel patients and families on optimal medication use, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited program, a valid and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Ohio, and at least three years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting. Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong knowledge of medication safety policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as a commitment to patient safety and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and policies.
2. Develop and manage medication protocols, optimizing drug use.
3. Provide clinical support to the healthcare team.
4. Counsel patients and families on optimal medication use.
