- Provide high-quality care to neonatal patients and their families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans for neonatal patients.
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments and monitor patients' progress.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and administer medications as needed.
- Educate and support families on the care of their newborns and provide emotional support during difficult times.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and current research to inform and improve patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
- Continuously assess and evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to other healthcare team members.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and their families.

- Stay up-to-date on advancements in neonatal healthcare and incorporate new practices into patient care.
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Aprn) Licensure In The State Of Ohio, With A Specialization In Neonatal Care.
Master's Degree In Nursing, With A Focus On Neonatal Care.
Certification As A Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Nnp) From A Recognized Accrediting Body Such As The National Certification Corporation (Ncc).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Nicu).
Strong Knowledge Of Neonatal Assessment, Diagnosis, And Treatment, As Well As Experience With Advanced Procedures Such As Intubation And Central Line Placement.
