We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care team.   1. Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in the primary care setting.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
  3. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide treatments within the scope of practice.
  4. Educate and counsel patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality and patient-centered care.
  7. Stay current with evidence-based practice guidelines and participate in continuing education activities.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  9. Act as a patient advocate, promoting the rights and needs of patients and families.
  10. Participate in departmental and hospital-wide committees, initiatives, and quality improvement projects.
  11. Provide support and guidance to other healthcare staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
  12. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  13. Act as a positive representative of Cincinnati Children's and uphold the organization's values and mission.
  14. Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote health and wellness in the community.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve practices to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Program Is Required For This Position.

  • Active Licensure: Must Hold A Valid And Unrestricted License As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Ohio And Maintain Current Certification.

  • Primary Care Experience: Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In A Primary Care Setting Is Preferred.

  • Pediatric Experience: Experience Working With Pediatric Patients Is Highly Desired.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role, As The Nurse Practitioner Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
