Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Cincinnati Children's. In this role, you will be a part of a team of professionals who are dedicated to providing excellent care for our patients and their families. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for helping to ensure that our pharmacy is running efficiently and providing quality care.To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid pharmacy technician certificate. You must also have previous experience working in a pharmacy setting. Previous experience with electronic medical records is a plus. You must be detail-oriented, have excellent organizational and communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you must be able to accurately and efficiently process insurance claims.We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and a professional attitude. Responsibilities: • Ensure that the pharmacy is running efficiently and providing quality care • Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently • Assist in compounding and labeling of medications • Maintain pharmacy records and inventory • Ensure accuracy of prescriptions filled • Answer customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service • Follow all safety policies and procedures • Cross-train in all areas of the pharmacy • Assist in the training of new pharmacy technicians • Monitor and order pharmacy supplies • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
