Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Physician Assistant with a passion for Emergency Medicine to join our team at Cincinnati Children's. In this role, you will serve as a vital member of the Emergency Medicine team, providing quality and compassionate care to our pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in Emergency Medicine, along with strong clinical and communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide quality and compassionate emergency medical care to pediatric patients.
  2. Perform medical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and assess patient status.
  3. Prescribe medications and treatments, and document patient care in electronic medical records.
  4. Educate patients and families on medical care, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  6. Identify and report any adverse events or patient safety issues to the appropriate staff.
  7. Maintain current licensure and certifications, and stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements.
  8. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities.
  9. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • Board Certified Physician Assistant (Pa-C)

  • Certification In Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls)

  • Certification In Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals)

  • Advanced Medical Knowledge In Emergency Medicine

  • Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills
