
Research Assistant Professor, Infectious Diseases
We’re looking for an innovative Research Assistant Professor to join our Infectious Diseases team at Cincinnati Children’s. This role requires a creative and passionate individual who is eager to make a difference in the lives of children. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a strong team of clinicians and researchers to develop and implement new treatments for infectious diseases.The ideal candidate must possess a Doctorate degree in the field of infectious diseases, immunology, or a related field, as well as a minimum of three years of postdoctoral research experience in a relevant field. In addition, you must have a strong record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children. Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative treatments for infectious diseases in collaboration with clinicians and researchers.
- Conduct research in the field of infectious diseases, immunology, or related field.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Maintain a strong record of excellence in research.
- Foster a positive environment in which to make a positive impact on the lives of children.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in the field of infectious diseases, immunology, and related fields.
- Coordinate with other researchers and clinicians to ensure efficient and effective research outcomes.
- Lead research projects and teams when necessary.
- Present research findings at conferences and meetings.
- Supervise research assistants and postdoctoral fellows, if necessary.
