Job Description

We’re looking for an innovative Research Assistant Professor to join our Infectious Diseases team at Cincinnati Children’s. This role requires a creative and passionate individual who is eager to make a difference in the lives of children. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a strong team of clinicians and researchers to develop and implement new treatments for infectious diseases.The ideal candidate must possess a Doctorate degree in the field of infectious diseases, immunology, or a related field, as well as a minimum of three years of postdoctoral research experience in a relevant field. In addition, you must have a strong record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop innovative treatments for infectious diseases in collaboration with clinicians and researchers.
  2. Conduct research in the field of infectious diseases, immunology, or related field.
  3. Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  4. Maintain a strong record of excellence in research.
  5. Foster a positive environment in which to make a positive impact on the lives of children.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in the field of infectious diseases, immunology, and related fields.
  7. Coordinate with other researchers and clinicians to ensure efficient and effective research outcomes.
  8. Lead research projects and teams when necessary.
  9. Present research findings at conferences and meetings.
  10. Supervise research assistants and postdoctoral fellows, if necessary.
