Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources and Diversity Officer (CHRO) at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. This key role will provide strategic direction and operational oversight for our Human Resources and Diversity initiatives. Our ideal candidate will be a visionary and highly experienced executive with a passion for developing and executing innovative HR and Diversity strategies. The successful candidate should have a solid track record of developing and leading high performing teams, combined with a deep understanding of the complexities of managing a modern, multi-faceted HR and Diversity function in a large, complex organization. The successful candidate should also possess strong business acumen, a commitment to advancing Diversity and Inclusion, and excellent management and communication skills.Required Qualifications: • A minimum of 12+ years of progressive Human Resources and Diversity management experience• Demonstrated success leading and managing HR and Diversity teams in a large, complex organization• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred• SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification• Track record of creating and implementing innovative HR and Diversity strategies• Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action laws and regulations• Experience creating and executing Diversity and Inclusion initiatives• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills• Exceptional leadership and management skills

Responsibilities: • Develop and execute innovative HR and Diversity strategies • Lead and manage HR and Diversity teams in a large, complex organization • Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action laws and regulations • Create and execute Diversity and Inclusion initiatives • Foster collaboration and teamwork among staff • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Provide guidance and support to senior management • Monitor and evaluate HR and Diversity initiatives • Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations • Utilize data analytics to assess and improve HR and Diversity initiatives • Monitor budget and resources to ensure efficient use and allocation of funds • Utilize technology to improve HR and Diversity processes and operations
