  1. Develop strategic direction for the Platforms team and oversee the product roadmap.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of product managers to ensure successful execution of product strategy.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and marketing to deliver innovative and market-leading platform solutions.
  4. Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and stay abreast of competitor offerings to identify new opportunities for product growth.
  5. Drive product innovation and differentiation by understanding customer needs and translating them into product requirements.
  6. Define product positioning and messaging to effectively communicate the value proposition of the platform products to customers and stakeholders.
  7. Monitor product performance and key metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  8. Work closely with sales teams to develop pricing and packaging strategies that align with business goals.
  9. Collaborate with senior leadership to set and achieve product revenue and profitability targets.
  10. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our platform products and enhance our brand reputation.
  11. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform product strategy and stay ahead of the competition.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Platforms team.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Product Management: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Product Management, With A Demonstrated Track Record Of Delivering Successful Products And Driving Revenue Growth.

  • Strong Technical Background: The Director Of Product Management - Platforms Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Well-Versed In Networking Technologies And Platforms. This Includes Experience In Software Development, Cloud Computing, And Working With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Strategic Thinking And Leadership: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Strategic Thinking Skills And Be Able To Lead And Inspire A Team Of Product Managers. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Product Strategies That Align With The Company's Overall Goals.

  • Business Acumen: The Director Of Product Management - Platforms Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Market And Industry Trends, As Well As Experience In Developing And Managing Product Budgets And P&Ls. They Should Also Have Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills To Effectively Communicate Product Vision And Strategy To Stakeholders.

  • Customer Focus: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Customer-Centric Mindset And Be Able To Understand And Anticipate Customer Needs. They Should Have Experience In Gathering And Analyzing Customer Feedback And Using It To Drive Product Innovation And Improvement.
