  1. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives for utilizing data and AI in supply chain management at Cisco Systems.
  2. Lead and manage a team of data and AI experts to drive innovation and advancements in supply chain processes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for data and AI integration in supply chain operations.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in data and AI to continually enhance Cisco's supply chain strategy.
  5. Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings within the supply chain.
  6. Create and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track the effectiveness of data and AI strategies.
  7. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and technologies in data and AI for supply chain optimization.
  8. Develop and manage budgets for data and AI initiatives within the supply chain department.
  9. Communicate and present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior leadership.
  10. Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  11. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all data and AI initiatives.
  12. Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with implementing data and AI strategies in the supply chain.
  13. Participate in conferences, workshops, and other learning opportunities to continuously improve knowledge and skills in data and AI.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and functions to ensure alignment of data and AI strategies with overall company goals and objectives.
  15. Demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical and responsible use of data and AI in supply chain management.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Supply Chain Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Supply Chain Management, With A Deep Understanding Of Industry Best Practices And Trends. This Includes Experience In Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Logistics, And Sourcing.

  • Strong Data Analytics Skills: The Director Should Possess Strong Data Analytics Skills, Including Experience In Data Mining, Predictive Modeling, And Statistical Analysis. They Should Also Have A Working Knowledge Of Data Visualization Tools And Techniques.

  • Proficiency In Ai And Machine Learning: The Role Requires A Strong Understanding Of Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning, And How They Can Be Applied To Supply Chain Operations. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Ai Solutions In A Supply Chain Context.

  • Leadership And Strategic Thinking: The Director Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing A Data And Ai Strategy For Cisco's Supply Chain. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Think Strategically, With A Track Record Of Successfully Executing Complex Initiatives.
