
Manufacturing & Industrial Engineer
Cisco Systems is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manufacturing & Industrial Engineer to join our team. This individual should be a creative problem-solver with strong technical and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of knowledge in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, engineering management, and computer-aided design (CAD). They will have a passion for the manufacturing and industrial engineering process, and a commitment to quality and safety. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, with over three years of experience in the industry. This individual should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Knowledge of CAD systems, production planning, and other related software is a must. Responsibilities:
-Perform industrial engineering and manufacturing engineering tasks, such as production planning and process optimization
-Design and develop solutions to improve the manufacturing process
-Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the production process and recommend strategies to increase efficiency -Implement process and product improvements to meet customer requirements -Conduct studies to identify cost reductions and labor savings opportunities -Develop and maintain CAD models to support the manufacturing process -Develop and maintain documentation related to the production process -Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards -Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies -Ensure quality control of manufactured products
