
Sourcing Commodity Manager

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key commodities to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to determine their capabilities and suitability for our business needs.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Continuously monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop sourcing plans that align with organizational goals.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, including conducting regular performance reviews and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of key commodities while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
- Utilize data and analytics to track and report on key metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sourcing and procurement processes and increase efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in sourcing and supply chain management to continuously improve processes and strategies.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of commodities to support global operations.
- Train and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in sourcing and procurement.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and compliance requirements, in all sourcing and procurement activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Or Commodity Management.
Strong Knowledge Of Global Supply Chain Operations, Market Trends, And Supplier Management.
Excellent Negotiation Skills And The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers.
Demonstrated Experience In Implementing Cost-Saving Initiatives And Driving Efficiency In Supply Chain Processes.
