Job Description

Cisco Systems is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and creative UX/UI Design Intern to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our top-notch product design and engineering teams to craft user-centric products and services. If you are an organized self-starter who is eager to learn and develop your skills, this position is perfect for you!To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of design principles and a portfolio of design projects. Furthermore, you should have experience with user experience (UX) design, user interface (UI) design, interaction design, and prototyping software. Experience with graphic design, motion design, and front-end development are also a plus. Above all, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate with a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create user-centric products and services in collaboration with product design and engineering teams.
  2. Utilize UX/UI design principles and develop a portfolio of design projects.
  3. Design user experiences (UX), user interfaces (UI), interactions, and prototypes.
  4. Implement graphic design, motion design, and front-end development when needed.
  5. Engage in effective communication and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  6. Stay current on design trends and technologies.
  7. Develop innovative design solutions that meet customer needs.
  8. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve existing products and services.
