Job Description

Citigroup is searching for an experienced VP - Public Affairs to join our team and shape our public affairs strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a passion for public affairs and a desire to make an impact in a leading global financial institution.The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders. We are looking for a professional with a track record of developing and executing successful public affairs strategies. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, as well as a minimum of 10 years of experience in public affairs. Above all, this individual must be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.The VP - Public Affairs will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our public affairs strategy. This person will be a strategic advisor to the executive team and will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of current issues in the financial services industry and be able to identify opportunities to advance our public affairs goals. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute public affairs strategies to advance the organization's public affairs goals.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  3. Monitor current issues in the financial services industry and identify opportunities for advancement.
  4. Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team.
  5. Develop and maintain effective communication channels with external stakeholders.
  6. Provide advice and guidance on public affairs activities.
  7. Prepare reports on public affairs activities and results.
  8. Monitor and evaluate public affairs campaigns.
  9. Represent the organization at public affairs events and meetings.
  10. Develop and implement measures to ensure compliance with public affairs regulations.
