  • Receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced operators
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the water treatment plant

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
  • Monitor and adjust the chemical treatment process to meet required standards
  • Record and maintain accurate data on plant operations, water quality, and equipment performance

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Would Be A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures A Basic Level Of Understanding Of Math, Science, And Technical Skills Necessary For The Job.

  • Relevant Training Or Certification: The Ideal Candidate Would Have Some Training Or Certification In Water Treatment Or Related Fields. This Could Include Completion Of A Water Treatment Program, Certification From A Professional Organization, Or Relevant Coursework.

  • Physical Ability: This Job Requires A Significant Amount Of Physical Activity, Including Lifting Heavy Equipment, Climbing Ladders, And Working In Confined Spaces. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Duties Safely.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Water Plant Operator-Trainee, You Will Work Closely With A Team And Communicate With Other Departments Within The City. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential For This Position.
