Job Description
  • Cleans City beaches and open spaces; removes trash.
  • Operates, maintains and performs minor repairs of beach cleaning equipment.
  • Performs custodial and routine repair and maintenance duties at Power House Community Center and other City facilities.
  • Identifies and, via radio, notifies management of problems on the beach, parks and streets before, during and after hours.
  • Provides general assistance and information to visitors to the community center and beach-goers.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Procedures, practices and techniques related to the upkeep of City beaches and facilities

  • A valid California driver's license, Class C, with a satisfactory driving record.

  • At least two years of general maintenance and repair experience a plus
