Job Description

Performs skilled work in the repair and maintenance of varied types of trucks, heavy equipment, and accessories. On occasion performs skilled and semi-skilled work in the repair and maintenance of automobiles. Performs related work as required.

Job Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience performing heavy equipment and mechanical repairs

  • Considerable knowledge of the design, operation, and repair of light and heavy-duty gasoline and diesel equipment

  • Ability to diagnose mechanical defects and ability to determine parts necessary to put equipment into proper operating condition
