- Participate in ride-alongs with patrol officers to gain experience in responding to and handling emergency situations.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and responding to emails.
- Adhere to all department policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the City of Fountain Valley in a positive manner at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervising detectives or department staff.
