  1. Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and overseeing various projects in the City of Grand Rapids.
  2. Conduct research and gather data to support project planning and decision-making processes.
  3. Collaborate with project team members to develop project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  4. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
  5. Identify and communicate potential risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
  6. Coordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholders and project team members.
  7. Ensure all project documentation and records are accurately maintained and up-to-date.
  8. Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
  9. Act as a liaison between project team members, contractors, and vendors.
  10. Support the implementation of project plans and strategies to meet project objectives.
  11. Assist in the procurement process for project materials, services, and equipment.
  12. Maintain a thorough understanding of project scope, goals, and objectives to ensure alignment with the City's overall vision and goals.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure effective project coordination and communication.
  14. Conduct quality control checks to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the project team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Project Management, Construction Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Project Management, Preferably In A Municipal Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills.

  • Knowledge Of Project Management Software And Tools.

  • Ability To Work Well In A Team And Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
