1. Operate and maintain various boiler systems in the City of Jersey City to ensure efficient and safe operation.
2. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on boilers to identify and address any potential issues or malfunctions.
3. Monitor and record boiler performance, including temperature, pressure, and fuel consumption, to ensure optimal operation.
4. Troubleshoot and repair boiler malfunctions, including replacing parts and components as needed.
5. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and others while operating and maintaining boilers.
6. Maintain accurate records of boiler maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance plans for boilers.
8. Collaborate with other members of the facilities management team to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained.
10. Provide exceptional customer service to all occupants and visitors of City of Jersey City facilities.
11. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in boiler technology and techniques.
12. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report any issues and discuss potential solutions.
