  1. Accurately assess and collect property taxes for the City of Jersey City.
  2. Work closely with the Tax Assessor and other city officials to ensure efficient and accurate tax assessment processes.

  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tax assessments and collections.

  • Experience With Database Management: Proficiency In Database Management Systems And Data Entry Is Essential For Maintaining Accurate And Up-To-Date Tax Records.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Clerk - Tax Assessor, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Reviewing And Analyzing A Large Volume Of Tax Records. Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure Accurate Data Entry And Calculations.
