High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Human Services Aide At City Of Jersey City Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates Basic Academic Skills And Knowledge.
Experience In Social Services: Candidates With Previous Experience In Social Services, Such As Case Management Or Community Outreach, Will Be Highly Preferred For This Role. This Experience Shows A Strong Understanding Of The Field And The Ability To Work With Diverse Populations.
Knowledge Of Local Resources And Services: A Successful Human Services Aide Must Have Knowledge Of Local Resources And Services Available To Residents In Jersey City. This Includes Knowledge Of Government Agencies, Non-Profit Organizations, And Other Community Resources.
