Knowledge Of Disease Prevention And Control: A Program Manager In This Role Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Disease Prevention And Control Strategies, Including Knowledge Of Different Diseases, Their Causes, And Methods For Preventing Their Spread.
Experience In Program Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Program Management, Preferably In The Field Of Disease Prevention And Control. This Includes Experience In Developing, Implementing, And Evaluating Programs, As Well As Managing Budgets And Resources.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Program Manager, Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels, Including Government Officials, Community Leaders, And Healthcare Professionals.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: The Program Manager Should Have Demonstrated Experience In Leading And Managing A Team To Achieve Program Goals. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Support, And Foster A Positive And Collaborative Work Environment.
Knowledge Of Public Health Policies And Regulations: A Strong Understanding Of Public Health Policies And Regulations At The Local, State, And Federal Levels Is Crucial For This Role.
