Job Description

The City of Jersey City is looking for a motivated, organized and dependable Records Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational and technical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Records Management Department. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, and have excellent customer service skills.To be considered for this role, you must have at least an associate's degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent experience in records management. You must also have experience in database management and a working knowledge of records management practices. Finally, you must have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and demonstrate an understanding of the principles of customer service.
