GIS Intern
Creates and maintains spatial data in the City's Enterprise GIS. Applies Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques to develop internal and external reports. Conducts data formatting relating to transit operations analysis. Collects, updates, integrates, and documents geospatial data from the field to existing GIS datasets. Communicates and collaborates with City Departments to address and resolve GIS related services and/or issues. Prepares and maintains comprehensive records and files. Conducts technical research as required.
A full-time four-year college student
Must be within one year of graduation date majoring in GIS, Geography or related field.
Ability to use G.I.S. related software, mapping, spreadsheet and word processing programs.
