
Administrative Services Director
Develops, directs, and coordinates the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards for the Administrative Services Department. Provides for the selection, training, professional development, and work evaluation of department staff; authorizes discipline as required. Manages the administration of the annual budget for the City, financial forecasting and planning, tracking the adopted budget, preparation of periodic budget reviews. Establishes the City's central budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting practices; evaluations accounting procedures and financial controls; responds to and implements audit recommendations.
8 years of increasingly responsible management experience in public accounting
At least two years of experience must be in a municipal agency and at a supervisory level.
Ability to evaluate and implement improvements in department operations
Ability to analyze financial statements and periodic payroll, tax, budgetary, and audit reports
