Job Description

The City of Los Angeles is looking for a talented Controller Audit Analyst to join the Finance Department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality assurance over the City’s financial operations, managing and executing the audit process, and helping to ensure the City’s financial integrity. You will be joining a dedicated and passionate team of finance professionals who are committed to providing excellent financial management services to the City.This role requires a professional who is passionate about finance, auditing, and compliance, and who has the qualifications necessary to excel in this position. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, as well as at least five years of experience in auditing or related financial analysis. CPA certification and/or public sector experience is a plus. The Controller Audit Analyst must also have a strong understanding of principles and practices of general accounting, auditing and financial management, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Job Qualifications
